Loft conversions in Brighton. This super creative client in Hove is an artist. He wanted to transform his loft space into a new studio where he could work on his projects away from the hustle and bustle of family life.

He brought some really interesting ideas to the design process, including his salvaged letters from an old printing press. He’d bought the pieces at auction with no clear purpose in mind for them but asked if we could include them in his studio. Every artist needs to wash his brushes, even in a loft, so we built a unit for a butler’s sink using salvaged materials.

We finished this dormer loft conversion in Brighton with a beautiful open stair case, to be enclosed with glass sides at a later date, with plenty of storage beneath, and a perfect ensuite.
